You can count down the hours now to what could be a season defining Manchester Derby. Just hours ago, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola met the media to preview this blockbuster fixture. He covered a multitude of topics, including City’s record setting start, the sheer magnitude of this game and whether or not he is as focused on acquiring trophies as his rival on the opposite touchline- Jose Mourinho (go this link for video of his news conference today).
However, the major takeaway from the session is of course the fitness report. David Silva is cleared to play while Vincent Kompany and Fabian Delph face late fitness tests.
Here is the YouTube video of the full session with Pep Guardiola below:
Manchester Derby Odds: City- 11/10, Draw 13/5, United 12/5

Manchester Derby Prediction: United 1, City 1
I don’t expect Jose Mourinho to go all out and play extremely aggressive in this one, but I also don’t think he’ll park the bus either. In the end, I foresee a single point for each side.
As always, feel free to post your own MUFC, MCFC starting XI and Manchester Derby score predictions in the comments section.
