Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba gave an interview with French outlet Canal Football Club, and he answered the big questions that have been surrounding him all season long. If you follow United closely this campaign, you have no doubt had more than your fill of “Do Pogba and Mourinho get along?” and “Will Pogba leave this summer?” stories.

In the Canal interview, the Frenchman addressed both his own future, and the nature of his relationship with his manager.

“Right now, I am at Manchester United and I am honestly only thinking about the present. Transfers are not in my head. We are in the [FA] Cup final and the World Cup is around the corner,” Pogba said in regards to his club future.

In 2018, we’ve seen plenty of rumors claiming that Mourinho and Pogba do not get along. The reports typically say that the United boss has run out of patience with the midfielder’s attitude away from the pitch. Mourinho has consistently denied these claims, and Pogba did likewise today.

“I don’t have a problem with him, and I don’t think he has a problem with me. He’s the coach and he has to make choices,” the Frenchman said.

“I am a player and I accept them. I have to answer on the pitch.”
