Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is the literal embodiment of “living the dream.” The 19 year old Englishman was a top ten trending term on Twitter for much of Sunday after he scored his very Premier League goal in a very long time. Rashford burst onto the scene last season, rapidly making his presence felt for both club and country.
Year two hasn’t been as productive at Old Trafford, but given his young age and extremely high ceiling, you know better things are coming around the bend. As a child, Marcus Rashford dreamed of playing for United as the teenager revealed on social media today.
Rashford Tweeted a photo of himself as a kid, along with a letter that he penned at age 11.
It reads:
“I only have one aim in life and that is to be a professional footballer, and hopefully at Manchester United.” Have a look at the pics posted on his official Twitter account.
