It’s another international break and thus, kind of a slow time when it comes to big headlines, but there’s still a whole lot of important Manchester United news items out there.

New Chile coach Reinaldo Rueda has given United winger Alexis Sanchez a much needed boost in morale. The 29-year-old moved over from Arsenal in January, and since then has struggled mightily. The Chilean has just one goal in ten appearances with United, and he even found himself dropped from the FA Cup.
However, Rueda has handed Sanchez the national team’s captaincy; which must make him feel better.
“It’s a difficult transition to go from Arsenal to Manchester United,” Rueda said (transcript Manchester Evening News). “He is sad because he wants to show his level. Fortunately he arrived with a great disposition. He knows that his teammates love him and respect him.”
“In February he asked me to stay at his club, to adapt, but his passion for the team made him come here. We hope we can help him.”
