Manchester United have now departed for their preseason tour of the United States, and below you will find the 27 man squad that is coming across the pond. They’ll train at the University of California-Los Angeles, located in Westwood. Newly announced signing Romelu Lukaku has already been training with new teammate Paul Pogba at UCLA, but the Belgian’s name is missing from this list.
Lukaku got arrested in L.A. on July 2nd, when one of his parties resulted in a citation for disturbing the peace. He has a court date in Los Angeles County on October 2nd.
The minor legal troubles are not the reason Lukaku is left out of the list, it’s only because he has yet to formally finalize his move from Everton; some of the terms haven’t been hammered out yet.
Here’s a link to a couple of different ways that United could line up this season.
New signing Victor Lindelof is on the team list, alongside youngsters Scott McTominay and Demitri Mitchell. Adnan Januzaj and James Wilson did not make the cut, but the injured and now convalescing Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw were all included. Have a look:
