When Manchester United host West Brom on Sunday, they will come into the match as healthy as they have been all year long. United have only two things left to play for, the FA Cup and finishing runner-up in the league. They have a healthy margin ahead of Liverpool already, who will now certainly be focused primarily on winning the UEFA Champions League.
For this weekend, United manager Jose Mourinho will have all of his outfield players at his disposal after midfielder Marouane Fellaini returned to training following his muscle injury. Phil Jones is working his way back towards match fitness, while back up goalkeeper Sergio Romero remains sidelined with a knee problem.
On the other side, West Brom will be without Gareth Barry (knee) and James Morrison (calf). They also have four doubts to be match fit in time: Hal Robson-Kanu (head), Nacer Chadli, Jonny Evans (knee) and Daniel Sturridge (thigh).
Yes, Sturridge battling an injury, what else is new.
United are heavily favored in this one, as you would expect, but overall it’s an pretty evenly matched series. United have won 56 matches in the series, West Brom have taken 43, to go with 32 stalemates.
