Having won all four of their UEFA Champions League group stage contests up to this point, Manchester United are sitting pretty right now with almost certain prospects to progress from Group A. What side will finish second is much less clear. Perhaps it is Wednesday night’s opponents, FC Basel, who are level on six points with CSKA Moscow.
As the Swiss side are set to host United, CSKA will face Benfica in their penultimate group stage match.
CSKA are heavily favored to beat a Benfica side who have lost all four group stage games, meaning the Russian club is likely to grab the second spot in the knockout round from this grouping.
United still need one more point in order to officially clinch their spot in the round of 16. Here is the link to the MUFC injury report for this match.
