Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is happy with the Football Association’s decision not to take further action against him, in the wake of his getting sent off in the 1-0 win at Southampton. Mourinho got whistled on Saturday for being just outside the technical area and thus sent off in the final minutes of extra time at the St. Mary’s.

Mourinho believes that the FA’s decision not to further punish him is the correct one.
“If I’m not punished, it’s because there were no reasons for the sending-off,” said Mourinho at his news conference ahead of United’s UEFA Champions League group stage clash at CSKA Moscow tomorrow night. “I’m happy that was recognized and I can be doing my work normally against Crystal Palace. That’s enough for me.”
Mourinho’s comments were very diplomatic, while United legend and club Ambassador Bryan Robson had a much stronger take. Robson says it will be “a disgrace” if the Football Association decides to issue a fine or a ban on Mourinho, and called the situation “a joke.”
He also hit out at Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp in the process. You can read his comments at this link.
