(UPDATE Javier Hernandez suffers knee injury in Mexico-Nigeria Exhibition)
25-year-old striker Javier Hernandez is disgruntled and malcontent about his role with Manchester United. He’s only started in one of the last ten games, and since David Moyes took over, Chicharito has seen his status reduced to that of a peripheral role.
Today, when speaking about playing for Team Mexico he said:
“I’m very eager to play as my club don’t take me much into account. I hope I have the opportunity to play [for Mexico].
“When you are called up, you have to be thankful and if not called up, you have to keep working.”
“I’m very happy and thankful with this call-up, like I was when I was called up for the first time.”
