You know the light-hearted Manchester United supporter saying: “give us this day, our Daley Blind.” United might be giving Blind to another club, if the price is right and the team provides a good fit for the Dutchman.
The defender with the ability to play multiple positions started the first three Premier League games of the season for United, but has since seen his role replaced by Ashley Young. The acquisition made by Louis van Gaal has only played a single minute in the four league fixtures.
If he’s on the move come January, where might be land? TalkSPORT claims to have a scoop, writing that:
“Turkish giants Fenerbahce are considering a move for Manchester United’s versatile defender Daley Blind. The Netherlands international is being touted for a move away from Old Trafford in January after enduring a difficult start to the new season.”
If manager Jose Mourinho does want to part ways with Blind, Old Trafford will no doubt have their share of potential suitors to choose from. There will be plenty of interest from teams beyond just Fenerbahce.
