Former Paris St. Germain superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been linked to several teams this summer, with Manchester United considered the front-runner. The mercurial Swedish superstar has reportedly been eyeing a move to England with his contract now expired.
He’s said he knows where he’s going, but he won’t reveal his destination until he feels like it.
If Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford were to really happen, you already have two members of the Red Devils on record saying that they’d be all for it.
Juan Mata is one, and you can read more about that here at this link.
Today, it’s Anthony Martial. The Frenchman currently on duty with the national team was asked if new coach Jose Mourinho could lure Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford.
“We know that Mourinho is a great coach, one of the best in the world,” the young Red Devils striker said.
“If Zlatan was to come, it would be really good. He’s a great striker, he will bring us experience.” Back in mid-April, when discussing Ibrahimovic, Martial told Telefoot: “It would be nice to play with him. He is an extraordinary player and he continues to prove it despite his age.”
Imagine Martial and Ibrahimovic playing together in attack; how riveting that could possibly be.
