Manchester United are now unbeaten in 22 Premier League matches, and find themselves with a legitimate, if not promising shot at a top four finish. Chelsea have no looked this bad, at any point, since Antonio Conte switched his formation to a back three in September, and the Blues began a record setting form of run.
At one point, Chelsea held an opportunity to win the league by a record margin, and set the total season points record. Now, they are just four points ahead of cross-town rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the league lead. The title race is on- thanks to United’s biggest performance of the year, led by a very stellar Ander Herrera effort.

The victory gave United’s top four finish chances a much needed shot in the arm. They are now just four points behind their cross town rivals Manchester City for fourth place, with a game in hand on the citizens.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the bench, Marcus Rashford needed to step up, and indeed he did providing the game’s other goal

You really have to wonder where this United team has been all season long. All those draws at home against mid-table and lower-table sides? How did they allow results like that to happen, given what they are truly capable of, and that which we saw today.
Beyond Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford, the another trending name in this clash was Diego Costa, and he was again the subject of mockery on social media. Enjoy that collection over at this link.
Here’s how NBC Sports broke down Herrera and Rashford in their individual player match rankings.
Marcus Rashford – 9 – Splendid display as he finished superbly for the first, then ran Chelsea’s defense ragged.
Ander Herrera – 8 – Had Hazard in his back pocket, plus grabbed a goal and an assist.
