Manchester United received their UEFA Champions League pot yesterday, and they were included as part of a very impressive grouping (you can analyze that in detail over that this link). Just minutes ago, the Champions League groupings were announced and United received a very, very favorable outcome.
They are in group A with FC Basel, Benfica (the top seed so to speak, with the Victor Lindelof narrative obviously built in) and CSKA Moscow.
Take a look at all the groupings below:

The strongest Champions League groupings appear to be H, C and D. Right now social media is buzzing over how Tottenham drew an extremely unfavorable situation in Group H, and a return trip to the Europa League seems destined. Of course, when it comes to “narratives,” Group C jumps right off the page at you with Chelsea and Atletico Madrid placed together.
The Diego Costa drama won’t be going away any time soon, so we can all have a lot of fun with that Blues-Atletico tie when it happens.
