It’s international break, and hence a slower period of news, but there’s still a ton of Manchester United storylines circulating on the internet today. The headline narrative is of course the uncertain long term future of manager Jose Mourinho at the club. Here’s a link to more on that.
Now let’s transition to what else is going on.
Romelu Lukaku has entered a recent dry spell, failing to score a goal in his last six games. The drought has Red Devils supporters irked and incensed; so much so that it inspired manager Jose Mourinho to publicly defend Lukaku against the fans, and thus create somewhat of a row between Mourinho and the fan base.
The United manager is not concerned about the performance of Lukaku however, and neither is his former manager at Everton, and current boss with the Belgium national team Roberto Martinez.
Lukaku showed us exactly why these men believe in him, bagging a brace in Belgium’s 3-3 draw with Mexico. He also moved into a tie atop the Belgian all-time scoring chart.
Aged 24, Romelu Lukaku has equaled Belgium's all-time goalscoring record.

–Paul Pogba had a ton of praise for Anthony Martial, telling MUTV (h/t Daily Mail): ‘Anthony is a big, big, big talent. He’s a talented player – one of the best players I have ever seen or trained with.”
‘He will improve a lot and you are going to see even more of Anthony, I’m sure.’
Pogba is no stranger to bizarre, wild haircuts, as he’s previously featured numerous items such as leopard spots and guitars in his hair. Check out his latest quirky hairdo over at this link.
