Liverpool FC star Philippe Coutinho once again showcased the skills that make him so heavily coveted by Barcelona. The subject of a £72 million bid from Barca this week provided a rocket of a game winning goal to help LFC beat Leicester City 2-1, and claim the Premier League Asia Trophy.
If there could ever be such a thing as preseason exhibition silverware then the Reds claimed a piece on Saturday.
The friendly “tournament” win is Liverpool’s first in this their second trip to the Premier League Asia Trophy Final match. Take a look at this booming finish from Coutinho:

Mohamed Salah, who signed earlier this summer for a club record breaking transfer fee, provided the other goal for LFC in Hong Kong today. Although just an exhibition, this win over the 2015-16 Premier League champions conveyed the kind of chemistry that Reds supporters hope to see between Coutinho and Salah this season.
Islam Slimani provided the only goal for Leicester City, giving the Foxes an early lead in this one.
