Andrew Robertson, or as Liverpool FC call him Andy Robertson, was unveiled Friday as the club’s third summer transfer window addition. Thursday saw the former Hull City left back pass his LFC medical and finalize his deal. Andy Robertson should provide more depth, and also an upgrade his position for Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp.
That’s great for them, because as you might have read somewhere once or twice, the Reds need help in the back line.
The transfer fee paid for the Scottish international was undisclosed, but is reported to be £8 million, with an opportunity to rise to £10 million in add-ons.
“A wee bit surreal just now. Obviously I’m delighted,” Robertson said in an interview with the official website. “There’s been a lot of speculation over the last couple of weeks but I’m glad that the deal’s finally been done and I’m a Liverpool player.”

Liverpool reportedly beat out along PSV Eindhoven, Sporting Lisbon and other clubs in the race to acquire his services.
“When any club like this comes up, you don’t get the opportunities a lot so obviously you start to think what it’d be like to play for a club like this, and play with the players that are here, so of course it’s a natural thing that you think about it,” Andy Robertson said during his LiverpoolFC.com interview.
“But I like to think that I’m quite focused and didn’t let it turn my head or anything, I was just concentrating on Hull. But when it came to pre-season there was a lot of speculation, I was trying to focus on getting fit most importantly, but I was thinking the move could be on the cards.”
