Liverpool FC celebrated the 125th anniversary of their founding this past May while participating in an in international friendly in Australia. This mural of club legends however, is much more exciting. It truly is an amazing job by Australian sport artist Jamie Cooper, who took three years to complete the project. It was well worth the wait, and then some.
The Dream Scene depicts 20 legendary figures from Liverpool Football Club history including Steven Gerrard, Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, and The King Kenny Dalglish. It also includes today’s status quo, with current manager Jurgen Klopp, as well as current captain Jordan Henderson keeping the eternal flame lit, a key part of the painting.
There is an homage to the 96 lost in the Hillsborough Disaster as well.

Additionally, one really young fan was chosen at random from the supporter base to be a part of this, and wow what a wonderful experience is for that lucky boy. Whether you’re a fan of Liverpool FC, a rival side, or a neutral, you got to admit that this is awesome.
