Liverpool host Crystal Palace on Sunday as the race for the top-4 hits the stretch run. The Reds sit third in the table and have five matches to go, while all their rivals have games in hand.
Liverpool, as they have throughout the season, will be battling injuries in key spots. On area where there isn’t much concern in recent weeks is at goalkeeper. Simon Mignolet recorded a shutout last week and will be a key factor for the Reds in the final five games.

Liverpool has been sending out a back-three with two wingers the past several games, but injury concerns may limit that option on Sunday. Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan missed most of the preparations during the week with minor injuries and their status is unclear. Hard to see both of them starting, but if Matip is healthy enough to play, he is the choice.
Liverpool is already going to be without Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana in the midfield, and could be without Lucas as well. Like Matip and Klavan, he trained off to the side late in the week and will be a late fitness test.
If he can’t go, Sheyi Ojo, Trent Alexander-Arnold or Marko Grujic could get the start.
Liverpool will most likely going with their best current front-3 of Firmino, Origi and Coutinho. With all the problems in defense and the midfield, there could have been some reshuffling that saw Daniel Sturridge return to the line-up. But, he has missed several training sessions late in the week and it is unsure if he will be available.
