Liverpool has struggled since the calendar returned to 2017 and will try to right the ship on Saturday in a FA Cup tie against Wolves.
The Reds saw their EFL Cup journey end in the semifinals and don’t want to be knocked out of bounce competitions in three days.
With a big match against Chelsea on Tuesday, Liverpool will send out a youthful line-up on Saturday, much like they did in the previous round.
Here’s the link to the Liverpool match fitness and injury report for the FA Cup clash.
Trent Alexander-Arnold struggled in the first half against Southampton midweek, but with Nathaniel Clyne still nursing a rib injury, Alexander-Arnold will see the bulk of the time on the right. Joe Gomez continues to ease his way back from injury, while Klavan and Moreno start after not playing midweek.
Youngsters Ovie Ejaria and Kevin Stewart should start in the midfield. Georginio Wijnaldum and Lucas Leiva will both be options to round out the midfield, but Wijnaldum needs to get a game in and playing him allows Stewart to play in the No. 6 role which is more natural for him.
Divock Origi will lead the offensive line after not getting in until the final minutes on Wednesday. This should be an opportunity for Sheyi Ojo and Ben Woodburn to show what they can do.
