Here we go again with James Rodriguez transfer rumors. The international break is the perfect time to talk summer transfer window gossip.
Summer 2016, January 2016, summer 2014, all filled with plenty of stories linking James, don’t call him Jay-mes, it’s Hai-Mez” Rodriguez” to Manchester United, and later Liverpool. James Rodriguez made a big name for himself in the summer of ’14, parlaying his wonderful World Cup performances for the Colombian National Team into a fat contract with Real Madrid.
He was also attacked by this giant, gross disgusting bug during a game in Brazil, so he also had that going for him back then.
Rodriguez had a solid first season at the Bernabeu, but then really struggled in year two. His playing time diminished and he now finds himself not in the good graces of Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane. He could be on his way out, and headed to Liverpool this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
Provided they qualify for the UEFA Champions League of course. That is a very big caveat here for what would be a huge summer blockbuster deal for James Rodriguez.
Liverpool believe their bid to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is back on – if they make the Champions League.
A source close to Real Madrid said: “It seems Zidane is not satisfied with the player this season and has already asked for reinforcements in this position for next season.
“The player isn’t happy and it now appears a move in the summer is very feasible.”
