There isn’t a whole lot more that’s known about this situation right now, other than he obviously missed training on Wednesday. However, a report in The Telegraph adds that:
“The German will be released from medical care later today with his club offering a positive diagnosis suggesting the issue is not serious, although the precise details of the complaint are yet to be revealed. No surgery is required and the manager is reported to be feeling much better.”
Health issues struck his predecessor at LFC, Brendan Rodgers, as well. Just a couple weeks ago, Rodgers revealed that not long after his sacking by Liverpool he said that he felt so much stress from all the high pressure that goes with the job, he believed he was going into cardiac arrest at the time.
