Liverpool FC at Paris Saint-Germain is probably the headliner UEFA Champions League group stage clash of the week, and certainly the most anticipated fixture on Wednesday. Entering this hyped up clash of the titans the main focus has been on the fitness of PSG’s superstar duo, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Both picked up minor injuries during the international break, which led to many observers thinking they could miss this one. However, now it looks like both will feature, and thus no, Liverpool will not catch a massive break here.
So while there has been plenty of focus on who could start for PSG, what about the other side line? Who could be in the firt team for the last year’s UCL runners-up? We included team captain Jordan Henderson, as he’s headed for some forced time off domestically moving forward.
Hendo was sent off at Watford this past weekend, but he’s eligible to play in European competition, so expect Jurgen Klopp to include him in the first team on Wednesday.
