Liverpool and Burnley haven’t met very much in the Premier League, but when they have it almost always goes in the favor of the Reds. The Merseyside club has won six of the eight meetings, and lost just once. Wednesday night doesn’t look very good for the Clarets either, as they enter this match desperate for points.
Sitting 19th, they are one of the three sides that are currently in a relegation slot, and the other two have already sacked their managers this season. It’s a complete catastrophe for manager Sean Dyche, who led the side to a 7th place finish and a Europa League berth last season. That’s a rather steep drop off!
Anything less than all three points would certainly be a LOLiverpool here. Let’s take a look at who the second place side might have in their first team on pitch Wednesday night.
