When Liverpool took to the pitch at Anfield against Arsenal last night, manager Jurgen Klopp made wholesale changes to his first team. The German switched all 11, to reserves and younger players. It’s most likely he’ll swap out all 11 again, back to the regulars, when the Reds visit Aston Villa on Saturday.
There is a selection conundrum in midfield though, as Klopp has a wealth of options in the position group. How will this impact Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain? The Liverpool Echo has an interesting take on this situation, and the midfield over at this link.
That said, here’s what we’re think Klopp will go with on the weekend. The Reds come into fixture at the league’s 15th place side having taken 28 points, from a possible 30, thus far on the season. Their lead over Manchester City at the top of the table is six points.
