Did you hear that? It’s the sound of Hope Solo stock falling. Her public image took a big hit today when Solo showed no dignity in defeat on Dancing with the Stars. She got very low scores in the DWTS final four, broke down into tears in response to that, and refused to do her outgoing interview.

In fact she only did one media interview after the show.

From the Daily Mail:

She’s a world class soccer player, but it seems Hope Solo struggled to be a good sport after her elimination from Dancing With The Stars last night.

Instead of being a gracious loser, the 30-year-old reportedly had a series of outbursts after she was kicked off the competition.

Following her elimination, the sportswoman broke down in tears backstage, according to Us Weekly.

The fuming footballer was clearly unhappy with her scores, and in an interview after judging she said the judges should, ‘kiss my ****ing booty.’

Her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy also criticised judge Carrie Ann Inaba after Monday night’s show, saying: ‘**** Carrie Ann. I think Carrie Ann has an issue.

Wow. drama. We all knew that Solo is a very competitive person; hyper-competitive in the Michael Jordan sense. But to get so caught up in a competition like this? Over-doing it a tad, don’t you think?
