One of Chelsea‘s two main summer signings, Michy Batshuayi, has not been a major part of the plot this season. Batshuayi scored 26 goals in 62 games for Ligue 1 side Marseille last season, but he’s not playing much at all for Stamford Bridge. Stuck beyond a very much in form Diego Costa.
He’s yet to start a single league game for the Blues in 2016-17, and could be moving on to Swansea City on loan.
A loan swap deal for Batshuayi with Fernando Llorente going the other way is in talks right now. If that doesn’t happen then Batshuayi could be moving on to another London club for the rest of the season.
Via Sky Sports:
West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi on loan this month, according to Sky sources.
The Hammers made a £31m bid to Marseille for the forward during the summer transfer window but the 23-year-old Belgian moved to Chelsea in a £33m deal instead.

By the way, Batshuayi gave us our summer exhibition snap of the preseason. Following Chelsea’s international friendly loss to Real Madrid at Ann Arbor’s Michigan Stadium in July, he sported a Michigan Wolverines hat, and posted the photo alongside fellow new summer signing N’Golo Kante, on social media:

There you have it- “Go Blue” meets “The Blues.” The U of M hosted the record setting match at “The Big House” in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It’s the second largest stadium in the world, behind only a 150,000 seat capacity venue in Pyongyang, North Korea.
It was the highest attended match in Chelsea history and the second best attended in U.S. history.
