Chelsea star Eden Hazard has officially completed the final step in his rehabilitation and convalescence. Blues manager Antonio Conte has indicated that his wide midfielder will start for the team tomorrow night in the League Cup third round tie against Nottingham Forest.

“I think for Eden now is the right moment to start the game, and to try and play the whole game,” Conte said in a press  conference.

“I hope to be with him at the final step with the injury. I think we managed very well his situation. In my career, I was injured a lot of times. Also I have a bit of experience about this situation.

“With him, we’re managing the situation very well. Now he’s ready to start the game and I hope to stay with him for the final step.”

Eden Hazard saw some minutes off the bench in Chelsea’s last three contests, but hasn’t played a full fitness since before June, when suffered a broken ankle while on international duty with Belgium. The 2014-15 PFA Player of the Year missed all of Chelsea’s preseason, but despite the long playoff he is fully in sync with the team, his manager, the system and the tactics.

He made headlines all across the world yesterday for saying that the team is so finely disciplined that they could play with their eyes closed right now.
