Just prior to Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United today, Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho extended his hand shake to every one of the Blues players today except one- Eden Hazard.
The Belgian returned the favor by snubbing his former boss right back. I guess this is to be expected as the two were reportedly on very bad terms when Mourinho was sacked in December of 2015.

Perhaps Mourinho believes Hazard was largely responsible for what went wrong in the 2015-16 season and led to his sacking by Roman Abramovich? Whatever the reason, the distaste is clearly mutual. Likewise with Mourinho and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, there is certainly no love lost there, and today brought more of that (go here for more on that).
This rivalry is heating up to a level that’s as hot as it’s ever been. In the summer, United and Chelsea waged war in the transfer market over striker Romelu Lukaku, and the bad blood from the preseason, supplemented the tension from last year’s meetings, and now the acrimony only continues to escalate.
