After a less than favorable start by Chelsea FC, manager Antonio Conte will want to make a major improvement by picking up a win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. With Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas missing out on the tie due to suspensions, Conte will surely be reevaluating the depth of his current squad.
This match against Tottenham will convey if Chelsea FC needs to bring in more players, or if their squad is tight enough as it is.
After a solid 2-0 win over Newcastle United, Tottenham will be the favourites going into this game, but Chelsea do have the ability to pull out a win. Also with the English Premier League only being two weeks in, it is very hard to really tell the true form of the teams. As we get further into the competition it will become more clear who will challenge for the title.
Our Chelsea FC writer, Caleb Thompson, has returned for this season, and he’s broken down this match for us and made a couple predictions.
