The international break came at a great time for both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chelsea FC. On Saturday, we’ll find out which side was better to utilize that time off in what is a very even match on paper.
Chelsea head to the Molineux in 11th place, having taken just five points from their first four, but their opponents are off to an even more disappointing start. Wolves qualified for Europe last season, but here they are in 17th place and winless on the young season. Maybe the rest will recharge them?
On the flip side, maybe the time off for Christian Pulisic will get him to now play up to his lofty potential?
After Team USA’s ridiculous thrashing at the hands of arch-rival Mexico last Friday night in an “un-friendly,” U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter let Pulisic, and a handful of other key American players, leave camp and return early to their clubs.
Let’s take a look at who else might be in the Blues first team alongside the 20-year-old winger/midfielder.
Chelsea FC Starting XI Prediction (4-3-3) vs Sheffield United FC
Christian Pulisic Tammy Abraham Mason Mount
N’Golo Kante Jorginho Ross Barkley
Cesar Azpilicueta Kurt Zouma Antonio Rudiger Marcos Alonso
Kepa Arrizabalaga
