The final Premier League fixture of the weekend sees Arsenal FC head to Bramall Lane for a Monday night clash at newly promoted Sheffield United. Perhaps the most impressive Sheffield showing this season was their 1-0 loss to Liverpool. While there is no such thing as a “moral victory,” they certainly pushed the table toppers to the brink of dropping points as anybody else has this season.
With that in mind, Arsenal will certainly be on their guard and won’t take this fixture lightly. Let’s take a look at the team news for this one, starting with the visitors.
French forward Alexandre Lacazette has resumed training, and he’s recovering well from his ankle injury, but this match could comes too soon for him to feature.
Out injured is Reiss Nelson (knee) until November. Flipping over to the hosts, John Fleck (knock), Oliver McBurnie (knee) and David McGoldrick (groin) are all doubts for this one.
Out injured is defender Kean Bryan (knock), while neither side has anybody suspended for this one.
