Katy Perry Grammy dress violated CBS Standards and Practices (SFW Photo)

A lot of people were talking about the Katy Perry Grammy dress tonight. Or talking about what the dress didn’t cover. Her skin tight, mint/lime green cleavage window made her look like a skink. I said skink not a skank. Skinks are green lizards; The Katy Perry Grammys Dress presented us with a lizard with huge breasts.

I’m kind of afraid to ask this, but: is there @KatyPerryBoobs or @KatyPerryCleavage Twitter account already? Because it would have 50k followers overnight.

Apparently Katy Perry didn’t get the Grammys wardrobe memo. Perry pushed the envelope of the wardrobe mandate at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, with a get-up that blatantly violated the memo CBS sent out to Grammy attendees. The mandate emailed earlier this week by CBS’ standards and practices department demanded stars “please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered,” and Perry certainly disregarded that request Sunday night.

Remember this is CBS, which has a predominantly older audience. And our elders are often more easily shocked and offended. Perry isn’t the first to dress skanky, but she is the first to dress skinky. Lots of stars have dressed slutty to awards shows; she’s just the latest.

She may have a nice rack to fill out this outfit- but her music should still be used as a torture device in Guantanamo.
