The 12 men on the field took away a turn over and lead to a touch down. That set up the way the team needed to play later in the game. This pushed the need for the pass that was dropped by Welker, but it was set up by the early mistakes.

Welker just missed the pass, the mistakes lost the game not a missed pass.
