AJ Pasquale has turned his life around, and it’s the memory of his brother Nick, a former UCLA football player, which provided the inspiration. Nick was killed in a car accident last year. Following Nick’s death, AJ quit his job at a marketing firm and began working for UCLA football, more specifically the school’s athletic department.
AJ was at a crossroads, and he could have crumbled in the face of tragedy like any of us would. Instead he began his life anew.
Fox Sports has an emotional piece on the Pasquales, and all the tributes that the UCLA football program made to Nick’s memory. But more so it’s a human interest story about AJ. And actually a lot more than that. You don’t have to be a UCLA football fan to appreciate it; you just have to be a human being.
