Rough season for Todd Gurley, and now it’s over. Maybe this means he’s coming back for his senior season. Here’s what the University of Georgia just sent out:
“An MRI performed Sunday on University of Georgia junior tailback Todd Gurley confirmed a torn ACL. The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of Saturday¹s victory over Auburn. A surgery date has not yet been determined according to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.”
Georgia will be just fine without him down the stretch with Nick Chubb. You saw how phenomenal he played, and how well the Bulldogs played with Chubb, and you know what a great name that is to stay. I would guess now is the tell to sell your Todd Gurley NFL Draft stock, and start buying Melvin Gordon NFL Draft stock. Especially since the Seattle Seahawks will be parting ways with Marshawn Lynch.
