Notre Dame QB Tommy Rees’ Sister, Meghan Rees Arrested at Purdue

During the Fighting Irish blowout of the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday, Meghan Rees, The sister of Notre Dame starting quarterback Tommy Rees was arrested on charges of public intoxication and extricated from the stadium.

Apparently she got a little “too drinky” and “too fighty” for other spectators this past weekend. And given that she was in a crowd featuring both ND and Big Ten football fans, that really says something.

Get ready, she may become a college football media sensation this fall.

According to the Purdue student paper:

Meghan Rees, a 21-year-old student at Miami University of Ohio, was cited at Ross-Ade stadium at 8:38 p.m. Her younger brother, Tommy, was on the field leading the Fighting Irish to a 38-10 win over Purdue.

Purdue Police Captain Eric Chin said at around 8:30 p.m. officers received a report of a fight occurring in section 116 of the stadium. When the officers responded to the report, fans pointed to Rees as the one causing the disturbance.

I haven’t been to Miami U. of O. but all the girls I’ve met who graduated from that institution are the wildest, drunkenest, sorority girl for life style women one could ever imagine. I think I’d be afraid to travel down there. I wouldn’t survive.

  1. “extricate”? wow. please consider not using uncommon words in your articles, especially when you need to stretch their meaning to the limit, when there are far more appropriate common words… such as “evicted” in this instance.

  2. There are many cheaply made hand mixers that take up shelf space in department stores across the country and they never seem to last
that long in my experience. When you’re making an expensive purchase online, it’s nice to know that the company will stand
behind its product. Also in the box with the mixer is a flat beater,
    dough hook, and wire whip.
