The Nebraska Cornhuskers may have saved the job of Bo Pelini with this one. They also became bowl eligible with their sixth win; beating visiting Northwestern on a last second Hail Mary. Ron Kellogg III, the third string QB relieving an ineffective Tommy Armstrong and injured Taylor Martinez, completed a touchdown pass to Chicago area product Jordan Westerkamp.
The redshirt freshman from Lombard, Illinois (Montini Catholic) hauled in a 49-yarder as Northwestern snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Not much more to say on Nebraska versus Northwestern. Or #NUvsNU. The Vine tells the whole story. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a Vine video is worth…10,000 words?
Soul crushing loss for NU; that’s Northwestern and Pat Fitzgerald, not Nebraska, the other NU. Or maybe it’s Nebraska who’s “the other NU.” Anyways, the Wildcats are now 4-5, 0-5 in the Big Ten. Which is especially crushing given that they started the season 4-0. The loss at home to Ohio State on the same Saturday they hosted ESPN College Gameday has sent them into a massive tailspin.
