Link Bank 11-8-11: Penn State Child Sex Abuse Scandal Edition

There are so many layers going on in the Penn State sex scandal story that you really can’t even call it a sex scandal. Herman Cain is a “sex scandal.” Anthony Weiner was a lame, social media equivalent of a “sex scandal.” What’s going on in creepy valley right now is well beyond the Big Ten or even the world of college football.

These headlines are surreal; they sound like a sick joke, or a perverted hypothetical, the fact that this is happening to a man at the very top of the pantheon makes this an even bigger media sensation. The circus is necessary; that’s how big this is. With so many layers and levels to this “thing,” and so many more to go, let’s look at some of the many pieces- with both internal and external links.
