-Is Notre Dame college basketball much more nationally relevant than Notre Dame college football? This year it certainly seems so. ND was never close to being ranked on the gridiron in 2010, but the very well-dressed Mike Brey’s hoops team is #9 in one poll, #8 in the other this week.
-But to my knowledge, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez (who is now a Northwestern student) never attended a ND basketball game; only football. Which reminds me have you seen the creepy old guy with the viral vids dedicated to Selena Gomez? That’s one old, feisty, and horny redneck. The unintentional comedy is higher than Tim Lincecum after receiving his World Series bonus.
-Back to insanely hot women named Taylor, this time Corley, a freshman cheerleader at Mississippi State who did Playboy At TSB, all our photos and outbound links are safe for work, so if you want to see Taylor Corley’s NSFW spread you’ll have to look elsewhere. Turns out Corley will not be sanctioned by the University. Read why on SB Nation Atlanta, who did a pretty in-depth interview of her.
-The article mentions Corley’s Facebook page, which to no surprise has maxed out on friend requests. Never underestimate the high level of perversion you’ll find on the internet.
-Speaking of perverted degenerates and Facebook, I recently joined the Facebook Group “Ben Roethlisberger is douchebag.” But my question is: how can a group devoted to articulating what a horribly disgusting and immoral human being and overall dillhole Roethlisberger is only have 5,600+ members? Look for their ranks to swell on Super Bowl 45 weekend.
-And apparently the search engines themselves are degenerate, sex-obsessed robots. A UI classmate told me he was searching for a night stand and it led him to this, a link naming Kam’s as the best-place in Champaign-Urbana to have a one-night stand. If you’re into that thing. There’s a lot of unintentional comedy in this article as the staff seems quite proud of this. The description of the puke and smell of the bar is…and example of fantastic journalistic accuracy.
-Great Wall Street Journal feature on Bill Raftery. ONIONS!!!!! SEND IT IN!!!!!!
-Another must-read WSJ piece about all the sidelines and side-stories distracting football fans from Super Bowl 45 this week.
-Citing the benchmark of the financial press reminds me of that day back in 2007 that I interviewed with The Street.com (the business news website founded by CNBC’s Jim “Mad Money” Cramer, and I considered moving to New York City to write for them. The Sports Bank was founded a few months later. Sometimes it’s the shots you don’t take, or the trades you don’t make that make all the difference. “There’s always a bull market somewhere.”
-And in case you were wondering, Penn State’s Talor Battle was named Big Ten player of the week; in keeping with this week’s Taylor-made Link Bank.
-If you have a link for consideration in a future LB, tweet it at me, or post it on my Facebook wall.
