The 2011-12 college basketball season will soon be upon us. And possibly the best fanbase online, quite possibly the largest for sure, belong to the Kentucky Wildcats. And this will be a big year in Lexington, as they enter the season ranked #2, with the the #1 entering recruiting class.

But here we pay tribute to the ladies who are their most vocal and aesthetically pleasing fans. Your Kentucky Wildcats cheerleaders.

And of course, the most spirited and beautiful Kentucky cheerleader is Ashley Judd. Here’s a couple pics of her in UK gear. But for more pics of her in Wildcats regalia go here.

    Really?

“A Fulbright scholar and MBA, Banks has appeared on live radio all over the world; and he’s a member of the Football Writers Association of America, U.S. Basketball Writers Association, and Society of Professional Journalists.”

I would think that such an accredited “journalist” would be above posting cheerleader pics on the internet a la SportsbyBrooks. At the very least, someone in all those fancy writers groups would know better than to begin two sentences in a row with the word “and,” wouldn’t he? That’s 8th grade English. I suppose a Fulbright scholar can be forgiven for confusing singular and plural noun agreement, though. That could happen to anyone (without a high school education)!

    Hatorade,

I simply answer you with the closing Al Capone quote, and my final sentence in this post:

also go ask Brooks what kind of numbers he does, and how much money he makes. I’m sure he’s doing quite well. And I commend (yes, I started the sentence that way on purpose) him for doing so.

Nobody’s knocking pictures of cheerleaders on the internet. I simply would have guessed that someone with your pedigree would be, you know, above that sort of thing.

Thanks, I take that as a compliment
