For some reason, the high school highlight video of Jay Cutler has shown up on a couple sports news websites and blogs today. It’s hasn’t “surfaced” or “resurfaced,” as it was originally uploaded on February 2nd, 2010 by a YouTube account that is affiliated with or possibly is the Vanderbilt football official account.
Anyway, people are talking about Jay Cutler today, especially so because of that hit he put on Sunday Night Football. And people are talking about this vid for whatever reason. Here is the video’s self-description
Watch high school football and basketball footage of former Vanderbilt Commodore Jay Cutler. Cutler led Heritage Hills to a 15-0 record and first state title in school history as a senior in 2000. He was also first team All-State in basketball, averaging at least 20 points per game in his final two years.
That’s right, in addition to throwing and running for touchdowns, he even caught and returned TDs.
And Jay Cutler was a star basketball player too.
