Chelsea had about as rough a season as a Premier League title defending campaign could have. Likewise, on the individual level, for Eden Hazard, last year’s PFA Player of the Year. Enduring an injury-riddled campaign that’s seen him fall out of form, Hazard shockingly didn’t score his first Premier League goal until late April.
Then Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho lost the dressing room early in the season and was sacked by December.
He’s now landed a new gig at another huge English club, Manchester United.
Eden Hazard said he was happy to hear that The Special One is back in the BPL game, and he’s really looking forward to facing him this season.
“Mourinho is a fantastic manager,” he said.
“I wish him good luck for the next season. I can’t wait and just want to play against Manchester United.
“He’s a good manager with a lot of experience. He’s at a big club now and he will just want to win games.”
