Cristiano Ronaldo is unsettled at Real Madrid. He has made comments that have, in a subtle fashion, indicated a desire to return to Manchester United. Angel Di Maria just left Los Blancos to join Old Trafford, via a deal that broke the British transfer record. Di Maria gave a very revealing interview to Radio Amerika; in which he made some statements fueling Ronaldo to united rumors.
Ronaldo would later say that his comments have been misinterpreted, but it’s obvious he’s on the trading block for next summer. Now he has another suitor.
Here’s a rumor from the Daily Express today, claiming Chelsea will bid $97.2m next summer to try and tempt 29-year-old Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge.”
It is believed that United have set aside as much as £60million in a bid to bring Ronaldo back to England, and Louis Van Gaal is ready to offer him a lucrative deal exceeding his current £290,000 weekly wage.
However, reports now claim that Jose Mourinho has thrown his hat into the ring after forming a close-bond with the 29-year-old during their time together in the Spanish capital.
We’ll see what happens in the Cristiano Ronaldo derby.
