Did you ever call a play, or maybe even predict a game score in a college football or NFL contest, and get it exactly right?

You have to left the world know, correct? (By the way, my prediction record in two years of “Brutally Honest Previews” is 44-19, in case I hadn’t told you! And ToldU is a new social leaderboard app that allows users to predict then brag about the outcomes of individual plays of live events. They are really pulling out the stops to make sure that everyone gets a chance to prove they aren’t arm-chair quarterbacks, but they should be standing on the sidelines making the calls instead of the coaches.

Using the #humblebrag Twitter hash tag, and posting on your favorite team’s message boards just isn’t personal enough. It’s too anonymous.

Hottest Kentucky Wildcats Fan Alive: Megan Dills

In the Indiana Hoosiers epic upset of then #1 Kentucky a week ago Saturday a star was born; and I’m not talking about Christian Watford. She’s a Playboy model who happens to be a very dedicated Kentucky Wildcats fan named Megan Dills. In the court-storming episode, Dills was knocked down and suffered a sprained ankle and torn tendons. The injury forced her to cancel a Playboy photo shoot that would have been this Saturday in Indiana.

And this story (along with a her general scorching hotness) made her an internet media superstar this week.

The NFL is hoping they don’t have another Christina Aguilera disaster on their hands this here. I think they have a more professional singer this time, who won’t forget the words (probably)

KELLY CLARKSON will sing the National Anthem and BLAKE SHELTON and MIRANDA LAMBERT “America The Beautiful” at Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5, the NFL announced. The performance will be televised live on NBC prior to kickoff.

In addition, LENNY KRAVITZ and THE FRAY will rock the pregame show.

NFL Network’s Michelle Beisner: Cheerleaders Really do Become Sideline Reporters (Pictures)

I’ve been saying for the past couple of years that most of the new sideline reporter hires in sports media are drawing from two pools a.) wannabe actresses/models, note the slash, important to have that slash in there or b.) cheerleaders. The second category was really more of a joke. It made to be cynical of the talent’s “talent.” But this literally has been the case on more than one occasion.

With NFL Network’s Michelle Beisner, it’s literally both categories. She is signed to a modeling/acting talent agency, and she’s a former Denver Broncos cheerleader (I’m sure there will be no bias at all when she reports on the team, none. Absolutely no bias, nope. None at all. No way. The 35-year-old Beisner was one the squad for six years, serving as captain for four, and the Pro Bowl rep in 1999.
