Dan Fouts on the Chargers Absence Affecting the City of San Diego

The San Diego Chargers are officially moving back to Los Angeles, more on that over at this link.

As everyone saw this coming for well over a year, we asked Dan Fouts, one of the most iconic, if not the most iconic, player in San Diego Chargers history about it. Fouts, an analyst for CBS Sports, will call CBS’ broadcast of the AFC Divisional Playoff, Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots on Saturday (4:35 EST kickoff).

It’s the very definition of irony- the three NFL teams that already moved OUT of Los Angeles comprise the same exact trio that’s considering/considered a move/have already moved back IN to L.A.  The Rams are already there, now they’re getting their dance partner.

2017 NFL Mock Draft 1-12-17

nfl draft big business

In our 2017 NFL mock draft, we based the order on the actual current order at the regular season. We sorted the playoff teams based on how we’re predicting the NFL playoffs will shape out. The NFL breaks ties in draft order by reverse order of strength of schedule. Thus we don’t know for sure who will be picking #14 and #15 between Indianapolis and Minnesota’s pick (which is owned by Philadelphia), as the NFL has not confirmed the order officially.

Thursday Night NFL Ratings Continue to Fall

NFL ratings continued their downward spiral on Thursday after the Denver Broncos/ San Diego Chargers game drew a 9.9 overnight rating. The conversation is definitely going to veer away from NFL lines into a more in-depth discussion on this issue.

Oakland Raiders are Division Title Contenders Says LaDainian Tomlinson

It’s also possible, if you’re someone like me, born right on the millennial/Gen-X border, to appreciate both stars as actually being “L.T.”

Rams moving to L.A. Chargers have option; Twitter’s #NFLtoLA

#NFLtoLA was top five trending nationally Tuesday night as the NFL approved the move of the St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles, and gave the San Diego Chargers the option to follow suit. You’re probably old enough to remember one of those teams being in L.A. and then moving out. (the Rams) If you’re too young, then you’ve read been told about it.

Turns out the Chargers actually began in L.A. and then moved out. It’s way before my time, but yes the Chargers played a season in Dodger Stadium and the USC Coliseum (1960) and then set up shop further south.
