There is so much to choose from in sports viewing options nowadays that it can be very easy to miss something you would have loved to have watched. Just open up the paper and have a look in the sports section, and you will realize just how many sports we have access to now. If you have a package like Sky Sports or BT, then it’s even harder to keep up with what you should be watching.
Of course, it is wonderful that all of us sports fans can get our fill and then some. The ability to watch basically every sport from across the world, and to have all of it at our fingertips, is something we should appreciate and enjoy. However it can be rather annoying to realize you have missed something because there was just too much to choose from. With the rise of DVRs, it is easier than ever to watch multiple matches at the same time.
However, if you don’t even know the event is on, then a DVR really isn’t going to help you much. In order to help you, we thought it would be a good idea to collect together some great upcoming events from a range of sports. Football, boxing, cricket, tennis and more, there is so much super stuff coming up and you don’t want to miss a minute. So grab your calendar, get a reminder app up on your phone and check out these great sporting match-ups that will be on our TVs in the next few months.
Champions League Round of 16 Second Legs (6-7th of March and 13-14th of March.)
The first legs of the Champions League Round of 16 ties have come and gone with some tantalizing return legs setup for early March. Unfortunately, some of the ties seem pretty dead in the water, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern all crushing the sides they took on; Liverpool’s 5-0 away thumping of Porto was particularly one sided. However, Chelsea vs Barcelona, Tottenham vs Juventus, United vs Sevilla, PSG vs Madrid and Roma vs Shakhtar are all still very much tightly contested and will be fantastic to watch. Make sure not to miss them.
Indian Wells Tennis (5-18th March)
Outside of the Grand Slams, Indian Wells is one of the most prestigious Tennis tournaments and it will host many of the game’s best players. Australian Open Semi-Finalist Hyeon Chung will be there as will defeated finalist Marin Cilic. Both Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal will also be in attendance. It will be a super tournament in the men’s draw and also the women’s, which is set to feature both of the Williams sisters and new Australian Open champion Caroline Wozniacki.
Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker (31st of March)
