Patrick Kane, MVP of the 2013 Stanley Cup champions, will talk about the Chicago Blackhawks NHL championship victory over the Boston Bruins on the Late Show with David Letterman, Wednesday, June 26 (10:35 PM CDT) on CBS.
The Blackhawks pulled out a thrilling victory in the last 17 seconds of Game Six, giving Chicago team its second NHL championship in four seasons. Patrick Kane led the Blackhawks with 19 points throughout the playoffs, including three goals and two assists in the six games against the Bruins in the Stanley Cup finals. Kaner became the third straight American-born winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy, the NHL’s playoff MVP award, and just the fourth American-born winner ever.
Also featured on the Late Show Wednesday along with Patrick Kane are actor Jamie Foxx, star of the new film “White House Down,” a Top Ten List presented by The Backstreet Boys, and a performance by musical guest Wale.
