Danica Patrick showed off some hockey skills tonight (I’m sorry “last night,” technically, as I’m writing this at 1:48 am CDT on May 1st, and she scored her goal somewhere around 8:30 ish pm CDT April 30th). You gotta love Twitter timelines and WordPress time stamps.
Danica Patrick showed up for Game 1 of the Chicago Blackhawks series with the Minnesota Wild, sitting in the front row, right on the glass. Well, of course that’s where she sat! What, you’d think she’d be way up in the 300 level with all the slapdicks?
The Blackhawks had Danica Patrick play “Shoot the Puck” (which is……wait for it……..wait for it…………….SURPRISE! A game that involves shooting a puck!!! I did not see that one coming at all) And in between the second and third periods, Danica Patrick nailed her first shot. Well, what about her second and third shots? To quote Bryant Gumbel on HBO Real Sports as he brusquely moves from segment to segment “let’s move on!”
The NASCAR superstar gave us a shoot the puck moment that rivals Susannah Collins awesome interview of Mr. T and the weirdo fan telling Sarah Kustok “You’re so beautiful, I love you.”
Also, it should be noted that Mr. T’s Twitter bio does in fact say: “Professional pitier of fools.” That’s really good work; if you can get it.
Danica Patrick looks really small in this video doesn’t she? I mean we know she’s not Manute Bol or anything, but she looks even smaller than when I met her in person.
I was also disappointed by the size of Andre the Giant in person. He just didn’t look 7’4″ 520 like he was listed.
