St. Valentine’s Day will be here in less than a month and with it comes the struggle to come up with interesting and unique Valentine’s Day plans. Enter Minor League baseball. MILB is of course known for their crazy promotions and interesting publicity stunts. And if you live around the areas where the western suburbs of Chicago end and rural Illinois begins, perhaps you have an interest in having your romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at a minor league baseball stadium?

The Kane County Cougars, single A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs have a package deal for you.

Maybe you want to take a Kane County Cougar, by that I mean a hot single 45 year old woman from Oswego, IL to the home ballpark of the Kane County Cougars?

From the Cougars press release:

A limited amount of Valentine’s Day dinner packages are now on sale for Thursday evening, February 13th and Friday evening, February 14th. The events, which begin at 6:30 p.m. on both evenings will include a candlelit dinner for couples at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark prepared and served by the Cougars catering staff. Couples can choose a private suite option ($80/couple) or enjoy dinner in the Super Suite banquet room ($70/couple), a restaurant setting that holds multiple tables.

Couples can choose between three dinner menu options, each of which includes a salad, entrée, side dishes and dessert. Water and soda will be provided while select beer varieties and wine are available for an additional cost. Couples will also receive a pair of ticket vouchers for a 2014 Cougars game.

Interested couples can reserve a suite beginning today by calling (630) 232-8811 and asking for either Jenni Brechtel or Derek Harrigan. Couples looking to double-date are encouraged to call and make reservations as well. Last year’s Valentine’s Day dinner event reached capacity on both dates.

The release also lists out the three Valentine’s Day dinner options in detail, but I’ll let you cruise on over if you want to check that out. By the way, love is in the air in the Cubs organization. Or at least prospective love, here’s what was said by Anthony Rizzo at Cubs Convention this past weekend; about scoping out hotties at Wrigley Field with Darwin Barney.
