Ace Barcelona defender Gerard Pique had a fun and meaningful day on Twitter when the once relevant, but now desperate for attention media personality Piers Morgan made a plea to the former Manchester United man. The hard core Arsenal supporter, known to quite often get into Twitter tiffs with players, media and fans of rival teams, asked Pique to leave Barca and join up in North London.
Pique had the perfect answer as to why he won’t be going to the Emirates, and it included a slam at Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger.
These days it seems like everyone is throwing shade at Wenger and his cheapskate transfer spending policy.
Will you sign for Arsenal & put us out of our defensive misery?#AskPique @3gerardpique

It's very very difficult Piers. Ask your 'friend' Arsene to buy quality defenders! https://t.co/wVRca56EGI

Ah-hahahhahaha. Good times all around. You can see why Wenger is getting so defensive now in press conferences, when it comes to questions about his back line and the summer transfer window.
